INFOhio has licensed digital texts, eBooks, streaming educational videos, and more that all Ohio PreK-12 students, their parents, and educators can use for free in the classroom, at home, and on the go.
This collection of more than 1000 high-interest titles was selected to support Ohio's Learning Standards for 3rd - 6th grade. In order for students to use Storia, teachers of 3rd - 6th graders need to set up their Scholastic Digital Manager teacher account, add their Storia access code, create classes, and create individual user accounts for students by "rostering" students into their classes. Featuring articles, videos, interactive games, and activities on topics including animals, Earth Science, famous Americans, plants, exploring space, and more. Teacher Resources include printable handouts, worksheets, graphic organizers, and classroom management forms to use with any lesson, plus science diagrams and projects.
Transparent Language Online, licensed by the Libraries Connect Ohio partners, is a web-based language learning platform with more than 100 languages, including English. Includes listening, reading, speaking, and writing activities. Teacher licenses are available through RemotEDx and allow teachers to "roster" students into their class for progress monitoring.
